Direct Mail Campaign

A client such as Manolo Blahnik requires perfection to the smallest detail. My challenge here was to layout their latest collection, in a 12 panel fold-out brochure. Colour management and retouching of each shoe required precision accuracy in order to ensure the printed design reflected the real world product.

Like a Rubik’s Cube for designers, it proved a real challenge to maintain exact proportions relative to each shoe, while also producing a beautiful layout and design aesthetic worthy of the Manolo Blahnik name. Part of the project also included the preparation of original hand painted artwork for print, as part of a lookbook.
